Assistant Manager/Lifeguard
Qualifications:
- Be 18 years or older.
- Must hold lifeguard certification, or obtain prior to May 25, 2018.
- Able / Willing to work up to 40 hours per week, and available Tuesday - Sunday.
- Strong people skills.
- Independent transportation to / from work.
Responsibilities include:
- Serve as the opener, closer, or both. Keyholder.
- Ensure pool area is opened or closed properly, serve as onsite manager, communicate with pool manager regarding any concerns that arise.
- Oversee lifeguards, coordinate lifeguard schedule, arrange for substitutes as needed.
- Take daily snack stand inventory.
- Test chlorine/chemical levels throughout the day.
- Work with rental group leaders while they are onsite for events.
- Lifeguard pool.
- Work in snack stand.
- Assist in planning special events!
Starting pay will be $10 - $14 / hr based on experience
Lifeguard
Qualifications:
- Be 15 years or older.
- Must hold lifeguard certification, or obtain prior to May 25, 2018.
- Warm and friendly disposition.
Responsibilities include:
- Lifeguard pool.
- Work in snack stand.
- Test chlorine/chemical levels throughout the day.
Starting pay will be $9 - $12 / hr based on experience
Swim Coach
Qualifications:
- Be 18 years or older.
- Must hold lifeguard certification, or obtain prior to May 25, 2018.
- Warm and friendly disposition.
- Skill at working with children of all ages.
- Clean background checks, or ability to submit prior to May 25, 2018.
Responsibilities include:
- Lifeguard pool during swim practice/meets.
- Serve as swim lesson instructor.
- Coordinate all swim team activities and schedule.
- Securing swim instructors, as needed.
- Promote the team and recruit swimmers.
- Other duties as needed.
*As the Sanatoga swim team is a new team, pay will be subject to experience and enrollment.
